I would like to go from Shinjuku on the Keio Line to Shinjuku on the Marunouchi Line, but which ticket gate would be the closest?

The Keio West Exit is near. If you come from Chofu and get off in front, you can go to the ticket gate.

Do you have commuter trains on weekends and holidays?

There is none

What kind of exit should the Shinjuku Post Office go? It is a central line.

West exit, underground street exit 9

Where is a taxi stand

It is located at Shinjuku Station East Exit Square.

Are there millions of people a day? By the way, please only at Shinjuku Station.

100 million people

Where is the Narita Express platform located?

Usually platform 5 or 6, which is sticking out from south side of the station.

Is there a luggage storage area in Shinjuku Station?

There is.

How can we kawafujiko by trian From minamirinkan

Not in Japanese. Here is a question related to Shinjuku Station. Go to the end Kawaguchiko by express Azusa in Otsuki transfer Fuji Kyuko's and Shibuya from Shinjuku to go to Shinjuku Yamanote Line out to in Denentoshi from Minamirinkan.

Is there free Wi-Fi available?

i found wifi at various shops but last time i was at shinjuku station there wasnt a free public wifi i found for japan you could get portable wifi foe a reasonable price anyway. much easier than hunting for free wifi

10月12日(月)は、朝夕ラッシュ時間帯は凄く混みますか? 通勤通学時間帯です。通勤快速も走る。

Busiest train station in the world. Yup its a maze. Unless you love to get lost, this station is probably not for you. One trick is to be on the far south or north sides of the station and go through the underpass.

Biggest train station in the world. Google Maps has Street View of the inside of the station, and you can browse it for days. That ought to tell you something. How many exits are there? Even His Majesty the Emperor does not know. But there's always a friendly information desk or local resident to guide you.

This station is the busiest and biggest station, not only in Japan but in the world. Many things you find around the station. When I get there, every time I lose the way or use a different way to go outside of the station. I need a long time to understand that I am in Shinjuku station. Interesting, Japanese people can manage well, and remember everything inside the station. Anyway, you can get there to enjoy shopping, sightseeing, and hang out with your friends there.

Pretty empty, wasn’t enough people. For the city the size of Tokyo, I was severely disappointed. If you want to see a better station, go to Ogi-Ohashi station. Much bigger and has very fat trains.

An amazing experience in itself, but come prepared. The tourist experience is more to the East exits. If you are coming from the airport via Nappori then you want to exit under the tracks and continue straight as far as makes sense, and then left and find an exit. From there it’s the busiest train station in the world. Lots of English, all staff I interacted with were helpful, but know what line you are taking and which direction. You’re already on google, plan it out, have payment figured out coming in, and keep your head up.

The most confusing station in Japan. I've been to Tokyo 4 times and I still manage to get lost. Usually this involves finding the New South gate (which isn't really new anymore). The signage really needs to be improved.

It's considered as one of the busiest stations in the world. All the time people are in a rush to catch the time schedule of the trains. Literally, millions of people keep moving all the day. Still, the station is so beautiful and well-structured just like all other major train station in Japan. Sometimes, the entrance and exit may be confusing for new-comers even after having Google map. But, people are so kind, you don't need to worried at all....the station itself a major tourist attraction in Tokyo!

The busiest and largest station in Tokyo, it is quite a challenge getting to and from specific areas within the station and around. Do allot enough time to do the things lined up. The Odakyu tourist information centre (West exit) is where you can purchase various tickets such as passes and fares to Hakone, Mt. Oyama, Enoshima-Kamakura. Aside from that, they also provide same day luggage delivery to the airport'se, and also storage facilities (for luggage of any size). The station is also heavily integrated or in close proximity to various malls and department stores.

The nightmare station ! I traveled to Japan 10 times since 2015 and I always pass by Shinjuku, and I always get lost xDDon’t even try to check google map because the signal is too poor.I still give a 5 stars because now I’m at home, chilling, but if I had to make a review just after I find my way I think its would be a 1 star since it’s make me so mad haha :DThe good thing is that you can find many shops, restaurants and cafe.See you soon, Shinjuku station, I might change my review haha :D

Transited through here several times and lucky enough not to have gotten lost. It is quite busy so make sure to move aside while trying to navigate and/or find your bearings. Have never encountered any negative experiences whenever we had to ask for directions or doing transactions over the counter.

Shinjuku station certainly lives up to its name as the world's busiest station with its never ending cycle of trains and people. That said, signage was actually rather clear and straight forward compared to what other people might say but there is definitely room for improvement such as more use of escalators(especially when transferring) and higher ceilings to help improve the flow and ventilation. Still, it's one of my most memorable places in Tokyo!

Shinjuku station is enormous, awesome, and quite confusing. By many accounts, this is the world's busiest train station. There are more than 50 train and subway platforms, some connected to the main station by underground corridors, and millions of people pass through every day. With all those people, platforms, and exits (maybe 100 exits) it's easy to get lost, but no matter where you are in the station, you're close to an exit. That means you're also close to restaurants, department stores, nightlife, skyscrapers, and the Tokyo Metropolitan government offices. It's an amazing place.

The world's busiest train station, and it shows. This station is unfathomably massive and busy, but like most major Japanese metro stations, it is still quite easy to find your way around due to excellent signage in both Japanese and English.

One of the most iconic stations in Japan. Shinjuku station is the interchange for many train lines and bus services. It is very busy and crowded during peak hours. The bus center is found somewhere upstairs. Do follow the signs. The tickets to go other cities or prefectures can be bought on the spot, subjected to availability.

Feeling confused, overwhelmed and hopelessly lost? Welcome to Shinjuku station!Once you know how to navigate the many hallways, passages and gates of Shinjuku station you'll be ready to explore any destination in and around Tokyo. The station itself is surrounded by many shops, restaurants, convenience stores and of course the awesome streets of Shinjuku.Note: study the exits and where they lead to, taking a wrong turn often means walking another 10-30 minutes to your destination.

This place can be an oppressing maze to newcomers, but once you get the hang of it it's not so bad. There are many, many passages, stairs, and access points that take you all over. Follow signs and maps as best you can and be careful if you have luggage.

People who are giving 2 and 3 star reviews because they got lost of were confused, really need to re-evaluate their lives. This is one of the busiest train stations in the world. Despite myself struggling sometimes it wasn't too hard with the various apps available. We were getting all over Tokyo using the lines available from here. Trains on time every time and comes every minute or so. The efficiency is stunning.
